What does membership offer?

The opportunity to join a group of like minded people concerned with the highest standards of welfare, handling and training of dogs.
Members of the PDTE have the chance to contribute as a group in influencing the advancement of the highest levels of welfare.
Educational opportunities available through the PDTE are exciting. They include:

The chance to share ideas, information and knowledge with other members with varied experience.

Opportunities to research and develop new, humane training ideas.

Opportunities to attend symposia and to be presented with the latest information.

Through education, observing and understanding canine communication, language and influence, members of the PDTE will be able to contribute to and excel at humane methods of training and handling.

Who can join?

Any inividual who, through social or working life has contact with dogs, who wishes to promote a respectful and harmonious relationship, and who is willing to increase his/her knowledge and experience.

Levels of membership

There are two levels of membership:Associate and Full Membership dependent upon your knowledge, understanding and level of expertise in canine behaviour and training.

How to become a member

You will need to contact the membership secretary (Birgit Laser) for an application form and code of practice:-dogs@laserdogs.de.

The signing of the completed form includes your declaration of commitment to abide by the - Code of Ethics - and rules of membership. In signing this you will be offered the appropriate class of membership. Membeship begins on receipt of your acceptance and fee, and is renewable annually.
