PRESIDENT: Turid Rugaas WELCOMES You To PDTE
The Pet Dog Trainers of Europe (PDTE) was the idea of TURID RUGAAS who has been at the forefront of canine communication for many years. She has concerned herself with the general welfare of dogs world-wide.
Through the PDTE it is hoped to promote the best possible practises in training, thereby advancing the general handling and well-being of dogs in as many countries as possible.
The PDTE was set up to:-
develop and extend our understanding of how dogs see the world and how they communicate with each other and with humans.
gain a greater understanding of ways that we can develop a positive relationship between dogs and people.
Members of the PDTE have a commitment to better educate themselves, recognising that this will only serve to benefit others involved with dogs and to promote public awareness.
