We are pleased to invite you to Finland,
- PDTE members as well as non-members -
for the 2008 annual PDTE meeting!
   
   

On this weekend you have the opportunity to meet dog trainers from across the European continent, to exchange experiences, to talk about dogs, and to get better acquainted with others who are involved and highly interested in the fascinating world of our dogs.

We hope to see lots of people, to learn from each other and discuss how things are done in the different countries to improve training methods for the benefit of our dogs.

Venue and Accomodation:

Svartå Manor is located on the site of the old ironworks. It is an attractive hotel with conference rooms, restaurant and saunas surrounded by a beautiful park. The main building built by the master of the iron works Mr. Magnus Linder II in the 1780s is a museum. Hotel rooms, restaurant and conference rooms are all placed in nine old but completely renovated buildings round the park. Svartå Manor is located in the town of Karis-Karjaa, in Svartå, about 80 km westwards from Helsinki.

Travelling:
By Car:

Svartå Manor is located in the town of Karis-Karjaa, in Svartå, about 80 km westwards from Helsinki.

By Train:

You can come by train from Helsinki or Turku

By Plane:

You fly in to Helsinki – Vantaa Airport.
We will organize a pickup service. The service cost 10 euros/person/one way. Please be aware, that we cannot drive for each single person, so we will organise this in groups. Please contact me about your flight details.

   

As these are international events, please note that all talks will be held in English.

For an extra day as a tourist you can have a trip to Tallin in Estonia or have a nice day in Helsinki 30th September

Don’t hesitate to contact us if you need assistance with travel arrangements or in any other matters!

   
I have reserved some accommodation until the 31st of Aug 2008. After this time, I have to give up the rooms which are not required. So, if you need accommodation, book it with me well in advance !!
